Fashion Bomb

Acid and I entered the dark lair of rock and roll
known as the House of Blues on Wednesday to catch
Static X and Otep! Great show, with lots of great
people and music! We got to say hello to a lot of
friends and fans...T.J and Amy, our dynamic promotion
duo were out tearing up the pit in their Fashion Bomb
gear!! Lots of other Fashion Bomb shirts in the
crowd...I love it!!!! The Foundation Room was
blissfully un-crowded, but the company was good!
Virus from Dope was there in his signature cowboy hat,
which reminds me to coordinte with him in case I go
out in MY cowboy hat. We don't want anyone to think a
rodeo is going on anywhere close. I just wanted to
mention that the ESP guitar we are giving away on June
1st is now in our hands and signed!! It is a sweet
little piece of work, so be at the show all of you
Show Your Bomb folks!! Stay tuned for more!!

We are a few days back in town after a great show at
Harpo's in Detroit, MI! Thanks to everyone who came
out, our Allegan posse was in full effect, the Asylum
Angels, Ramona aka Frylock, etc!! We had a blast
playing the show, and the after party at IROC was also
a sight to behold with some good tunes and flesh
pulling thrown in for good measure! Big thanks to
Harpos for hosting and to Brian for taking good care
of us out there! We look forward to coming back
soon!
Onward and upward...we are confirming new dates, all
across the country from New York to Kansas City, to
our own backyard, so stay tuned to the site for
updates! June 1st is going to be a throw down, crazy
night and I can't wait to see everyone out there for
the show with American Headcharge, Godhead and Fashion
Bomb!! We are hitting the stage early, so pay close
attention to the show time!! Be there by 6:30pm or be
square! We will also be giving away the Show Your
Bomb contest guitar! If the winner is not in
attendance, we will ship it, but hey....help out the
starving musicians and get to the show!!! More to
come!

Hello all, it has been a little while since an entry
was written on the trusty Fashion File, but we have
been really busy at Fashion Bomb central. We have
just confirmed some great shows, namely the Fangoria
Weekend of Horrors convention about 10 minutes outside
of Manhattan, NY...and then there is the huge fetish
event in Kansas City, MO hosted by our good friend DJ
Dhust and Black Brothyl Productions...and more great
events in the pipeline!! We are busy reviewing all
the entries for the "Show Your Bomb" contest, so be a
little patient with us, there are a ton of them to
watch and review!! But rest assured, the guitar is on
it's way, courtesy of Fashion Bomb, ESP Guitars and
Fat Cat Gutiars!! I have to say that we are looking
forward to rocking Harpo's so hard that they will have
to pour a new foundation for the place! We will be
there on the 12th, and can't wait play for Detroit.
Quickly after, we will be ready to destroy The Pearl
Room with Godhead and American Headcharge!! June 1st,
it will go down, and we want to see all of you there
in full effect!! Stay tuned for more important
announcements, and if you want the news early, sign up
for the email list!! More to come!!

They say everything comes full circle, and music is no
exception. Back in the dark ages, musicians who dared
to embrace their creativity and show the people
something out of the norm, something that would make
people think, were labelled second class citizens and
barely tolerated. They eeked out a living relying on
charity and a frugality. This evolved slowly into the
highest culmination of decadence in the eighties and
nineties, when the rockstars that achieved notoriety
then can make world policy today (check out Bono and
Madonna). The money made by record companies and
bands was enormous. Today, the musical landscape is
a little different. The best bands in your favorite
metal magazines still have day jobs after the tour is
done, and the endless ocean of money that was, is now
more like a wading pool. Bambi and Mode have decided
to leave Fashion Bomb to handle their real life
issues, and I wish them the best. Fashion Bomb is
continuing to grow and develop new material and expose
our music to the masses. While the past was good
times, the best times are yet to come... I can't wait
to show you what we have in store for you all!
Novus Ordo Seclorum... More to come!!!

Back from a couple of shows in Ohio and Michigan...
Thanks to all who came out to support us! It was
great to see so many new faces and a few familiar ones
that continue to travel far to partake of the Bomb.
Peabody's was a great host, and Caliber 66 and
Keratoma were great to hang with and play with. Is it
possible that a city the size of Cleveland stops
selling alcohol at 9:00pm? I guess the Quakers had to
settle somewhere... but the lesson was learned for
Allegan, MI, and we invaded the Ground Sphere armed
with a little Jager for lubricant, and a big bottle of
Absolut Pear vodka(Val), a few cases of beer (Bambi
and Mode), an alternate location (Acid), and Jack
Daniels, Jager, Beer, and a chartreuse thong (DreG).
I can't really repeat what happened at the hotel after
the show, but let's just say it was like a philosophy
convention crossed with a bunch of drunks replaying
Borat. The Ground Sphere was a great time, and
everyone there was great... we can't wait to come back
and play for everyone in Allegan again! We will next
be heading to Tops and Tails near Peoria, which should
be a great show....spread the word... we ARE coming to
a town near you!!

So last night the whole crew went to the Metro for the NIN listening party. Personally, I think the new video is great, and the whole album is just what I wanted to hear Trent come out with next. I am looking forward to the next steps in Trent's schedule, you best believe that you will see F.B. members at his shows when he comes back. It was great seeing a bunch of friends/fans and partaking in the lovely nectar of the gods (cheap beer!)
We have our Madison show saturday, I hope that all of you get up there to hang out with us! I am personally a big fan of the Madison area- and nothing beats the sex shop/bakery/fireworks store just north of there! Then next week double duty at Peabody's friday the 30th, then Michigan on the 31st! I know I have tons of people waiting for me in Michigan, can't wait to see you all!!!!
Also, keep an eye out for me around town, you're going to see me at a bunch of shows and events soon. I'll let you all know where and when I will be. There will even be random excursions to different states between our show dates (like the Ohio trek that Mode and I did not long ago).
Stay tuned for more travells of Bamberz- we're going all over the place!

Despite the crazy schedule we keep, you will be seeing
the members of Fashion Bomb out and about in the next
few months!! Not only are we playing a bunch of shows
that we are really excited about, but we will be
giving out fliers, stickers, etc., and supporting the
scene. We will be at Kittie at the Pearl Room
tonight, the NIN listening party on the 18th,
Sevendust then next night, and at the plethora of
shows coming up in Chicago! I also had the chance to
make it to Elbo Room on Wednesday and rock out! Good
times. We are busy adding more shows, so keep an eye
on the website or myspace! Stay tuned!!

Hi, my name is DreG. I have been way to silent lately. Alas, I have something
to spout about. Ego, yes ego. This thing, word, idea is so screwed up. It
cracks me up everyday how misplaced the term ego is. For instance, I have been
told I have a huge ego by many people I have never talked to. How in the hell
do you know if I have a big ego? For christ sake, talk to me, get to know
me...then if you think I have an ego, good for you...I may even agree! But,
believe it or not I am not writing to talk about my ego. I am hear to discuss
the ebb and flow of others egos. I watch these egos with such interest. It
amazes me how much ones ego can grow. I laugh, I laugh because we could all be
taken right now regardless of how big our ego is. So why the ego, what does it
do? I believe ego is like relegion, a safety net, that blanket or teddy bear
you had when you were a child. It is nothing but self protection. Who needs
it? Just rock your world and ego will be a waste of time. Oh and by the way,
the band is great and we are writing new songs, and playing new shows and I
can't wait for tomorrow!! DreGego OUT!

Well hello there all...Mode here broadcasting from the land of human maladies...meaning...I am sick...
I hate bein sick!!!
But oh well right?
Okay...so...by now I HOPE everyone has heard about the Iowa show cancellation. bummer right? I was super stoked about that show...but a later date is already in the works.
But now, on to the meat and potatoes of this...
I have recently come to terms with a new infatuation...rich high school girls who act tough on myspace.
I have one in my friendspace, I won't say who so dont bother asking, who does nothing but complain about how horrible her life is..."my sidekick is gay and wont let me answer messages or post, so everyone has to AIM me...", and my recent personal favorite..."my mom crashed my poor mercedes while she was running from the cops...what a dumb bitch."
At first, I grew tired of her constant griping and posturing about how awesomely bitchy she is...but now...it is the mostentertaining part of my myspace visits. Aside from any messages I get from all of you that are lookin to talk about whatever.
So, besides talking to all of you, the hilarity that is rich bitches being tough just owns face!!
Everyone should have one on their friend space just so that they can know the amazing-ness that is stupidity at its finest.
wow...I've been typing for a while now...
I need more claritin...for my allergies...
cheers!!!

DreG and I were out and about last night at Double
Door to catch Leftsetter and Beneathme. Lots of
familiar faces and good times. The show was good and
there was a nice crowd for a Thursday night... I left
about midnight, and as I got outside and checked my
voicemail, who happened to leave me a voicemail but
Medavon from Lockjaw. He was going to be at Exit for
bondage night, so since I was so close I headed over
there. It was good to see him, and we had a nice
chat. He was down here to visit his lovely girl Mya,
who also happened to be suspending herself from hooks
that night. I have to say that she is definitely
hardcore, and anyone who can swing from two hooks
imbedded in her flesh, and have a smile on her face
like a schoolgirl is definitely one person you dont
want to mess with. Medavon...you may just have met
your match! More news on the show front will be
forthcoming soon, as we are confirming some more dates
now....so stay tuned!

We are certainly keeping busy in the Fashion Bomb
camp... we have begun to write some new music, and I
think that everyone will be excited about the songs.
They are in their infancy right now, but are already
taking shape into great stuff! We are also looking
forward to trekking out to Iowa to Emerald City and
then throughout the Midwest. We will also be out and
about at shows this month, so be sure to keep an eye
out at Stone Sour, Sevedust, etc....! More to come!

Hey kids- got some news for all of you that may not be from around our lovely home town of Chicago. Myself and Mode will be at the Phantasy Club in Lakewood Ohio (near Cleveland) to promote our upcoming Peabody's show. You might even see us hanging out with Jason from Pig/Ventana, and the lovely gothic industrial model Blu!! It's 18 and up... so sorry to the kidz, but you'll find the two of us around town bombing the shit out of the state so come and meet us somewhere else!
BUT the main reason why you should go is because Mode and myself will be handing out FREE (yes free, no strings attached) tickets to our March 30th show in Peabody's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So come out and party with us, and get some free tickets to our show. We won't be hard to miss. Hit me up on myspace or on aim (bambifashionbomb) for details of when we are going to be around!
If you can't make it to pick up the tickets, or flyers, email streetteam@fashionbomb.net and we'll make sure you get tickets mailed out to you asap!

Bizarre, that is all I can use to describe the vessel of communication we are
in. I find everyday a need to release my energy. It does not stop, and in fact
it seems to increase. For every high, I need to get higher. When does it stop?
Will it ever stop? Being struck with creativity seems great, but when does it
end. I have read of serial killers and wondered if they were just so creative
they could'nt stop. If creative needs numbed them to the terrible acts they
committed. Who knows. All I can say is I am pent up and need to get my party
on.. Maybe it is the last three days of hell I spent traveling in bad weather
with little sleep. Exit on Thursday? sounds fun to me. See you there.

Well, another weekend gone, and here I go jumping headfirst into the spring tour! Unfortunately, I jump in headfirst and land on my head with a horrible horrible flu! Thanks everyone for the emails and the myspaces with all your love and worries for me. I would like to report a successful bill of health, so Bambi is ready to rock out and party hard like you are used to seeing me be!
The shows this weekend were great (considering my delusions with my high fever). Fango Fest was a great time, and it was awesome meeting all the new Bomb lovers, as well as horror's greatests in the industry! St. Louis was fun, and we always have a blast at the Creepy Crawl and feasting at the Best Steak House. All the bands all weekend were really cool and put on some great shows. My personal first for seeing Voltaire's live performance... everyone must make a point to see him! It was a hilarious set!
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on the upcoming dates... we have wisconsin and iowa right around the corner- and check back often, because the april and may dates are coming in as we speak. I promise that i'll see all you guys out on the road soon!!!!!

Metro was a fun night, and to all those who came out
to help us make it so....thank you!! There was a full
house that night, and even through that, the majority
of our fans and friends are true individuals and were
easy to pick out from stage! It was great to share
the stage with SOiL who also rocked hard, and Disonic
and Chainwax as well! We had our peeps in from
Michigan, and from St. Louis, and from Wisconsin...all
making the pilgrimage to support Fashion Bomb!! We
thank you all for making it a great night! We are
quickly approaching our appearance at the Fangoria
Weekend Spooktacular on Friday, and then on to St.
Louis on Saturday! There are guaranteed to be some
stories here in the Fashion File, so stay tuned for
the scoop!

We had a great time last night on Q101... Fashion Bomb
showed up with alcohol and the usual dose of insanity,
and gave the FCC some pause. Chris Payne was awesome
as always, and we got to chat a bit with Marvelkind.
A great bunch of guys for sure...they were hanging out
in the green room awaiting their appearance as well.
Thanks to all for the kind emails about hearing us on
air...but I think "Low" will sound better live at
Metro Saturday than on a radio any day!! Get your
tickets soon....they are selling like hot cakes!
Also, look for us out and about at a show near you
leading up to Metro!! More to come!!

I decided to make the trek out to Bumfuck to go see Maggot Twat, and hopefully catch an uncensored version of the set they played with us at Clearwater. And I got my wish, although Dick Pancakes was conspicuously absent. For any who haven't seen them, they are fucking sick and hilarious, and the music kicks ass. The pit was one of those pits where beer gets spilled all over the place within the first five minutes and you get to watch drunk people slipping all over the place and falling in piles while they mosh. Good times.
Apparently, my spell checker is not a fan of the word "twat."
Also, I almost got in a car accident the the other day with an old jowly fat guy. He was hilarious-looking to begin with, but when he pulled up to roll down his window and yell at me, his big, saggy cheeks and jowls were flopping all over the place. Which made him look even funnier. Picture someone's face doing the Truffle Shuffle and you've got the right idea. So, this guy is yelling at me, and I'm laughing my ass off at him, which was probably not the response he wanted. Nothing pisses off crappy, irate people like being laughed at while they vent their apocalyptic frustration. Try it sometime, it's fun. Eventually, he got fed up with being laughed at and drove off, presumably to go fuck his dog. And I was in a good mood for the rest of the day.
We're on Q101 tonight at 10, check it out.

Hello all....we are turning up the intensity in
preparations for SOIL at Metro...this show is going to
be a showcase of throwing down in major fashion...pun
intended.
I was at House of Blues this past weekend to see
Cradle of Filth and 69 Eyes play, and also to witness
the loss of the Bears. I have to say that the press
likes to crucify anyone who falls short, but I still
think the Bears are going to be just fine....Anyway,
back to the rock...Cradle of Filth kicked ass. I was
up in the foundation room taking it all in and I
thought the set was great. Danny even came up to see
the view during the instrumental number. I got to see
a bunch of our peeps downstairs on the way out, and I
got to take some cool pictures and hand out some of
our new stickers. Look for us to be out and about
reminding everyone of the Metro show, and please
spread the word in any way possible! We will be the
guests on Local 101 on Sunday, so listen and let us
know that you heard us on the show! More news to
come, so stay tuned!!

Bamberz here in the world of snowy cold. We are getting 6 inches tonight out in the land where I live, looks like I will be trapped...again... ugh.
The weekend was great, thanks for everyone coming out to Clearwater Theatre to see the great show with Mechina, Maggot Twat, PMI, and the Bomb. You guys rock so much!
Then Saturday off to Stage 83 to see ADD and A Texas Funeral with a bunch of buds. Good show, good beer.
I was hoping to write a GO BEARS superbowl blog... but I guess that didn't happen. Oh well, Next year.
This week we got a lot going on, rehearsals and suprises for the Metro show, finalizing the tour schedules coming up, and more and more goodies coming your way. For those of you that are street teamers, hit me up, we got Legion shirts!!!! Oh, and look for me wandering around Chicago friday and saturday!

Last night was sweet, thanks to all who came a supported. It was a great way to kick off the next 10 months of shows! Thanks to everyone for wanting to hear me spew about climbing the mountain, I felt like I said it was amazing 10000000 times. But it was, really, really AMAZING. I will be posting 10 or so pictures on my myspace page today so y'all can feel the mountain. I am so pumped! The rock is here. I survived. I slept on the side of a rock (big rock) for 7 nights. I was above 15,000 feet for 3 of these nights. I woke up miles in the air, 140 KM from the equator, ate, climbed about 10 miles per day and several thousand vertical feet. All to get to the top of the tallest free standing mountain in the world! It was all worth it. I am unable to describe the feeling I experienced, but I will say it is much like great sex! I have come back to a 70 degree temperature change, BUT the tour starts! We are so excited to start beating the pavement and party with all y'all. Live for today, tomorrow you may be gone.
Luv ya,

So much is going on I can hardly keep track of it
all!! We have some great stuff in the pipeline, so
stay tuned for some announcements in the next couple
of days! First, I want to let everyone know that
DreG is alive and kicking after beating Mount
Kilimanjaro into submission! He is due back in a
couple of days, and I'm sure will be using some of the
mountain's energy to rock!! Second; Bambi, Mode,
Acid and I will be guest DJing at Exit on Sunday, so
come out and hang for a while....we promise the music
will NOT be boring. Next, we are getting ready to
rock the roof off of Clearwater Theater. This is
going to be a great show! And if that isnt enough...
we invade Metro with SOiL on the 17th!! I can't even
fathom how good this show is going to be, and our
friends in Disonic will be opening up as well, and
they seriously rock. Be on the lookout for our SOiL
show fliers, as they have a tour list on the
back...spread the word....come out and rock!
And as a final note...the NFL has seen fit to schedule
the Superbowl on the same night as Cradle of Filth at
House of Blues... now, I will be at the concert, but
you can bet that the Foundation Room TV will be on the
game, and I will be getting the best of both
worlds...a kick ass live show, and Urlacher, Grossman
and the Bears kicking that nancy boy Peyton Manning up
and down the field. Life is GOOD!

Hello my fellow Americans!
Bambers here lost in the world of hangovers and computer screens. Last night in all my amazing glory, I gathered up my home skillits and went down to the land of dollar domestic bottles. Amazed was I when I got the tab back from the bar and it said $15.00. How cheap, how wonderful, how great!
...wait... did I drink 15 beers last night?
I think I bought some for a friend, and someone bought me two... so that means that I probably maybe had about 7 or 8... I don't know it's all foggy. I do remember hanging out with some awesome rockstars (two national touring drummers who shall remain nameless). I think we sang Living on a Prayer. And there was a magician at the bar doing creepy ass card tricks. He wore a top hat and a tux.
Then to home I go eating carrots and hummous at 3am with another said national drummer who decided upon watching my season one He-Man DVDs, then HellBoy the movie.
...I think I should probably sleep....

Braving the freezing rain, insane traffic and
intollerable driving skills on Chicago's highways, I
made my way to the south side to the Pearl Room to
catch our friends in Withering Soul play with Dark
Funeral. The guys in Withering Soul did a great job
and got the crowd really into it! Frank always gets
great shows into the Pearl Room, and this one was no
exception! I got to spread the love about our show
with SOiL at Metro on Feb 17th, and also for the Feb
2nd show at Clearwater Theatre. I wanted to give a
big welcome to all of the new friends we have been
hearing from on myspace, and also thank you to all who
are signing up for the email list here on our site!
The response has been bandwidth-shattering and I can't
wait to play for you all and hang out afterwards...
Fashion Bomb truly has the best fans who are friends!
I would also be remiss if I did not give a shout out
to Terry and Rocky in St. Louis...so how many fliers
do you think you can get rid of? We'll let you try to
tackle the packages coming to the shop!! (insert evil
laugh here).

okay okay okay, so i know i haven't put a message up here for a while, you can all yell at me at the next show. But I HAVE been out and about pondering the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.
While Dreg is on top of a mountain somewhere, and Acid is travelling the western states, the rest of us are here getting shows put together, and getting the word out on all that is the bomb. I'll be at the Maggot Twat show on Friday showing some spam and tin foil love so look for me there. Look for Val at the LSA show on Saturday, and Mode at the Ventana show at Stage 83 on Saturday.
Until then, you can hit me up on AIM now, or on the Spizzle.

The new year is underway, and it looks like it's going to be an eventful one for the Bomb. Tour dates for our 2007 tour are piling up, DreG is off to go conquer Mt. Kilimanjaro and probably to do something illegal at the summit, new sex acts are being created and named (like "capping it"). New surprises are being arranged, a new, more badass website is born (courtesy of MiGo), metal is returning to Metro like an elbow in the jaw, and it appears that the world of Fashion Bomb is reaching critical mass.
I'm currently doing some traveling as well, visiting family and friends, and escaping Chicago's winter for a little while. So far, I have seen some bizarre shit in America's airports. I saw a forty-something arabic man proudly sporting The Second Or Third Worst Toupee Of All Time on top of his unfortunate dome. It was blond, of all colors, and spiky. I think it even moved once. As I was wondering which of the members of N'Sync this weird fuck scalped to obtain this follicular atrocity that was currently pasted to his head, I noticed that everyone else still thought it appropriate to stare at me.
I also saw a forty-something hispanic woman in Denver clutching what appeared to be a Virgin Mary Action Figure, which was more than a little creepy. Unfortunately, I wasn't close enough to see if it had "Kung-Fu Grip" or "Real Christ-Birthing Action." Like, maybe you press the doll's stomach and a little baby Jesus squeezes out of a little rubber vagina. That would be educational, right? Good luck getting it back in, though. Come to think of it, isn't that about the worst way in existence to break your hymen? By giving birth? Picture a group of women sitting around, trading horror stories about losing their virginity. One woman says, "Yeah, it sucked. The guy didn't really take his time, didn't really bother to get me wet first. It hurt a lot, and I bled all over the place. Pretty bad, huh? What about you, Mary? How did you finally pop your cherry?"
"I shat out the Son of God."
"Oh."

And so it is time, I will leave today at 12 noon with no communications other than a satellite phone. I will return on January 29th after summitting the highest free standing mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro, 19350 feet. Now I must reflect. This week I saw to people close to me lose people close to them. Life is not consumable, it ends. When? We don't know. Take every day and live it as hard and fast and cool as you can, it may be your last. The mind is the base of the body, use it. Keep the mind healthy. A challenge is not worthy of the power of the mind. I will be taking Fashion Bomb to the top of the mountain, it will not be our last. My photos will for sure win the show your bomb contest (unfortunately I am un eligible, but I could fake someone else submitting, I won't be recognizable in gear on the top..hmmm). So I say farewell for now, see you on the other side! FBomb 07, the year of the skuzzzyfurrybunny!

There has been plenty going on lately, as you can see
by the ever expanding Tour section! We are getting
entries for the Show Your Bomb contest and they are
looking great. We also have had time to get to some
shows and hang out with everyone, which has been
great. DreG, Acid, Slot and I went to the PMI, Dies
Mali, ADD show at Beat Kitchen the other night. Oh,
the vodka headache the next morning was not pleasant,
but you have to get them to remember why moderation
exists. PMI's set was great and makes me look even
more forward to playing on Feb 2 and at Clearwater
Theater with them.... This should be a crazy night!
Also, if you have been living under rocks lately, I am
equally excited to be playing Metro on February 17th
with our friends in Soil.... they will be in Europe
until that night, and it will be a great homecoming.
Metro having metal shows again is a great thing. IN
Flames/Lacuna Coil was great there, and Soil/Fashion
Bomb will rip the roof off as well! Also, tell
everyone to sign up for the email list...we will be
having some exclusive offers to email list recipients,
so we want everyone to get the offers!! One last
thing... Mikey MiGo clearly rocks. The awesome new
site you are surfing is designed by him, and he has
been really helping the band get things done!!! You
rule, my man... more to come!

6 days, the countdown continues. This is from a recent National Geographic post
"About 50% of all people who attempt Killimanjaro, make it to the top ".
So I have a 1 in 2 chance. I am not scared, but anxious with excitement. To stand on the tallest point of Africa. The rush of climbing, the breathtaking views...it is all worth it. With the recent deaths in on Mt. Hood, more and more people have looked at me with concern, BUT reality is people who climb mountains may risk death. It is a part of climbing. I think almost all who climb and face this challenge will tell you...If death were to come on the mountain, at least know I died doing what I loved! When I made sea level after climbing Mt. Rainier I realized it was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life. A year and some months later, still the hardest. I look forward to the climb, I look forward to Africa. Living today is important, it may all change tomorrow. Don't let anything pass you by, go for it. Some random thoughts. Oh, good news. I just settled an endorsement deal with Conspiracy Cycle Works. The DreGula has begun. I will be posting drawings and pictures as the bike moves forward. I would also like to announce the year of 2006 #2.
Luv ya,

Bambi here lost in the world that is Indiana. I'll be
chillin' at The Bluebird in Bloomington tonight.... so
come out and hang. Last night rockstardom ensued and a
bottle of Jack was ingested. No worries... I managed
to not fall into the hot tub. I'll see you in Chicago
tomorrow.
By the way...orange tequila and ham and

Tis the season. Christmas came and went and New Years is in front of us. The new year will be spent at Tour Manager Slots bar, Slotails, karaoke all night!! Every Rose Does Have a Thorn. I am less than two weeks away from a journey to the highest point on the African continent. 19,351 feet above sea level. A journey I have trained many months for is here. I can't wait. There is something to be said about climbing a mountain. It is a very personal affair, but the reward is amazing. I will be taking many pictures (as long as the weather agrees) and calling a few of you from my sat phone on top! 07 brings new things for the bomb and I am very excited. 2morrow night at the Weav's looking for the elusive mullet. C you there.
Go fuck yourself,

It is truly a busy time....As many of you know who
were out and about this past week, DreG and I rocking
out at Mushroomhead, Disturbed/Stone Sour, My Chemical
Romance, and In Flames/Lacuna Coil... we had our usual
great time, and it was nice to see so many familiar
faces. We were getting the word out about the album,
and about our next show out in West Dundee, IL at
Clearwater Theater. This is a really cool venue, and
it should be a blast. We will be playing with Pure
Motorized Instinct, and just confirmed...Maggot Twat.
I have a feeling we will all need to pull out our
industrial sized livers for this show!! All the info
is in the tour section, but it is ALL AGES, and 21+ to
drink so come one, come all....stay tuned for some
more updates, and watch out for us in a town near
you....show dates are confirming left and right, and
we will be playing several cities we have never been
before....More to Come!!

Sex, Booze, Rock and Roll. Long nights driving, and longer nights partying. That's the life. Over the weekend I helped out Posin (as seen on VH1 surreal life season 6) hahaha- great friends of mine. 15 hours one way drive, no room to lay down and sleep, little food eaten.
...i miss the road already...
The shows were great, the people were better. My only complaint was that we needed more Jagermeister!
Thanks North Dakota for making the trip so much fun. You guys are great, and you'll see Fashion Bomb up there as soon as I can do it.

Hello world! Bamberz here with a little bit of pre-trip cheer. I'm outa here for the weekend, going on the road with my good 'buds from Posin and helping them out with some shows. North Dakota here I come. I wonder if you folks up in North Dakota have ever seen us before? If not.. you will by the time I'm done. If you're from up there, head to my myspace to find out where I'm at, and look for me.. Bambi... you know, 10 feet tall, blonde dreds, sporting the fashion bomb t shirt that I'll be wearing all weekend long. I wonder if there are going to be showers? I like showers. You know what else I like? Big League Chew... I miss that stuff.
Oh... and drunk dials. They're good too.

Mushroomhead rocked. Although it was through a fog of illness I headed out to the show and tried to hide from everyone. I just felt that shitty...I didn't even want to chat. Just hand out some fliers, check the mushroom and get out. Black Flood Diesel played as well and they were good. Somehow I showed up just after the first band, I don't even remember their name, but I missed them. Thanks to all who did come say hi. Sorry if you get sick! Except for Weaver, pulling out your own mushroomhead is not part of a mushroomhead show.....never mind. Tonight I am hitting Stone Sour and Flyleaf, tomorrow who knows. See you tonight.

I was out christmas shopping recently, and it occured to me that there is not a single type of music that is more vile than when some vapid pop-tard like Jessica Simpson or Mandy Moore decides to take time off from wasting my oxygen and squeezes out some foul little Christmas album from whatever unholy orifice they generally produce such filth from. And then I have to listen to it whenever I enter any store during the 3-month-long holiday shopping season. Is there a single type of music worse than this? If there is, I haven't heard it, and I defy you to name what it is.
And, I recently found out firsthand that the Wii is incredibly addictive. But, while it may be able to make a dent in the general fatness of America's children, I doubt it will have any effect on how fucking stupid they are.

Deftones, love and hot sex. All the same for me Friday night. The Deftones did not disappoint, I had the best time rocking with the boys. Passion-what exactly does it mean? For me, it is an uncontrollable force at times. I remember the last 100 feet to the summit of rainier. I felt pain, worse pain then I will ever feel again in my life. BUT, passion was on my side. If anyone could of heard me, i was crying, screaming, yelling, ever profain word i knew and any I could make up. None the less, this fire, passion, took me to the top. I think if you have it, you have it. I wake every day with the fire burning, I go to bed every night and it still burns. The downside, dealing with those who don't have the fire. Sometimes it feels like I am alien, like I just can't get others to understand..no matter how loud I yell, or how hard I hit, sometimes it just does not get through. This is the passion I live with! Until next time I will burn inside...

I must have been drugged, I promise! Last night I attended the Army of Anyone show. I must tell you I am a Filter freak, I can't ever get enough. Of the two marathons I have run, Filter was there with me..just the best running music ever. Anyways, I was pumped to say the least. I was not let down. But first, Escape from Earth opened and it has been a while since I have seen them...it was great and fun to chat with them again. Steepwater was good, definately the classic, country rock sound, but I dug it. Army of Anyone...awesome. They rocked, that is all, they rocked. Mr. Patrick is an incredible singer. It is weird for me, not often am I blown away by a singer, but I am. Such a strong, melodic voice. It is incredible. And yes, if I were gay.......never mind. Deftones on Friday..are you kidding me. This is the best week ever!!

Ok. So...I got to play a few songs with the guys in Digital Mindy on Friday at Logan Square. Nick and Jon talked to me about it at our show with Psyclon Nine, and we decided to do it on December 1st. Fun times! I got to rehearse with them once to run through 3 tunes of theirs. Not too bad I would say. Although, I was kinda nervous about it when I pulled up at logan. I mean, I only rehearsed with the guys once. I didn't wanna look like an ass! But, from what everyone was sayin, I guess I did pretty good. I just want to take this opportunity to publically thank those guys for the wonderful time I had with them on stage. I'd also like to thank everyone that was there despite the nasty Chicago weather to see it all go down. And to everyone who didn't/couldn't make it...no worries. It will happen again if they would let me.
ok...I'm tired now...

Where the hell did this flaky white stuff come from? All of a sudden... BLAM... a foot of snow pummeling on poor Bamber's head. Makes me sad like a panda. Now my super awesome pants have un cool salt stains on the bottoms of them.
But... 'tis the season to be jolly. It's officially now time to start thinking about the holidays- whichever ones you may participate in. This year I'm lucky to have my nephew back from the Army.. and that's the best xmas present ever for me.
While we're getting ready for the fashion bomb onslaught in 2007, you'll find me around town- at the 'burb malls, at clubs and shows, or even at the local sushi station. Hit me up to find out where I'm gonna be. Recently I was at the Rikets show and the Digital Mindy show. I had an awesome time chillin with all of our friends and fans.

There comes a moment in time where the fine line of sanity and insanity start to blur together for lil' miss bambi. I was booking through the desolate trails of Indiana rushing to come home with a 2 hour nap to keep me fuelled. I woke at 430 am eastern time and took a cold shower with no soap and covered myself in Axe bodyspray because it was the only thing I had. I have had 5 hours of sleep in 3 days. I feel a little crunchy.
It was after the 24 oz of coffee and around my third Rockstar energy drink when I started finding things amusing. Like road signs and trees. I was driving... thinking to myself "Wow... tongue scrapers are a cool idea, I need to get one." Realizing I was fading fast I also thought it was a great idea to call everyone at around 530am central time to tell them happy turkey day.
So happy turkey day... eat some food and drink beer. watch football. I'm gonna catch up on some sleep now.

gobble, gobble. The day to give Thanks and eat like never before, oh and drink. I do love the day, if for nothing else, I get a chance to stop and relax. It has been a crazy month, one big blur and I am exhausted. So I will suck on a jack and coke, watch a parade, sleep, jack and coke, eat, jack and coke, sleep. Thanks, I give. On the Bomb side, keep calling Q101, we are getting spins and it is all due to you kids! We are working on many things over the next few months, mostly interviews and such. Tell all of your friends to buy a FBomb CD for the holidays, if you do I will have a double cheeseburger everyday instead of every other day!
Cheers, Happy Thanksgiving and talk to you soon.

Ah, what a great time. Another exhausting weekend, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Except for the fact that on Sunday, I was all set to relax and wind down in my usual fashion (watching people beat the living shit out of each other for my amusement) but the fates conspired against me. Next time, then.
I checked my trip log, and unfortunately, it was 500 miles (and not 499) of beautiful post-apocalyptic scenery. I felt like Mad Max, minus the shoulder pads. Coming from Chicago, I'm not used to seeing abandoned ghost-town type areas in major cities, but that's always been something I liked about St. Louis. There's nothing like walking down the street in the downtown area on a Saturday afternoon, with almost no one to be seen. It makes you feel like the last man alive, with no one but the rubber vagina you stole from the abandoned sex shop to keep you company.

Yes, the weekend was clearly eventful, and Double Door and Creepy Crawl were lambasted with the heaviness. Thanks again to all who came out to support, and our awesome crew! The hotel in MO was not 500 miles away, it was more like 499, and it only seemed longer due to the "post apocalyptic scenery" on the way...(Acid's comment). We are going to take a little time to eat some Turkey this weekend, and then will be back with new announcements and more updates on all things "Bomb"! Stay tuned!!!

Creepy Crawl was interesting- but BIG thanks to the crew, Ian and Kristie, and Psyclon Nine for coming with. A few of us ended up at this pimped out loft condo and partied until dawn.

Double Door rocked. St. Louis..what a night. Val picked a hotel 500 miles away from the damn venue, so we drove through all of St. Louis. We rocked and the promoter/owner Jeff was cool as hell. I had a blast hanging out late night with whiskey and a few friends. It was laid back, which was nice. Rocky and Mom showed..Psychlon nine showed as well.. good times. Holidays are here...than I run to a 19000 foot peak in Africa. I can't wait... Tomorrow night is metal night at NEO..come join me in some jager..

Just for the record, Talladega Nights was good, but the Borat movie is better. Best movie I've seen in a long time. I've been a Borat fan for years, and now the rest of the country is finally catching up to my superb taste in fake-reporter-from-Kazakhstan comedy. And it's about fucking time.
I fully intend to go see it again; anyone who wants to come with us should send me a 5-paragraph essay on why I should take him or her (preferably her) to go see this movie. Naked pictures of yourself will help you in the running, as long as you don't mind them being posted on fashionbomb.net.

Listen.... it's not that I have anything AGAINST northern Wisconsin... it's just fukkin' wierd up here! Last night we ate at the Goose Shot restaraunt where I had some more fried cheese because really that's all there is up here. My nights off consist of playing my bass and watching Sex in the City for no other reason than that's the ONLY station that doesn't come in fuzzy. I'm checking out and moving on today- I'm not sure it's Marshfield or if it's Ladysmith... maybe it's Shanaw.
I'm looking forward to the show on FRIDAY (AND SATURDAY)to see our fans and friends again. Please please get the beers flowin for me... I've had to drink only MacGlarius Spotted Cow Ale. Oh and Absolute... doesn't exist up here.
I'm bringing back presents my band mates...muhahahahahahah!!!

Sunday morning in la la land, the joy. The whiskey is still running hell on my body, but alas I must make my way to the airport for the next destination. Everything went awesome this weekend and I am looking forward to the next few months of the bomb, it certainly will be exciting times. On another note, I must think about telling people the truth. Why do so many people try to lie? I mean, you will be found out. If you are a poser, I will find out you are a poser. I just had one of our "friendly bands" get pissed because I told him the truth. Should I lie, will that make things better? No way. Not for me. Another thing, why are so many bands just assholes? Your not that good! Being an ass will not get you anywhere. We are all in this together for one reason, to do what we love. Quit being a dickhead and you might just find some good things come your way. Keep being a two faced, back stabbing, tell people to absolutely not support FBomb, and well....you will continue to be the mediocre local act you are! I digress, don't fucking lie to me, I will find you out. What is Cobb Salad dressing? It is good, not sure if I have had before, but it is good. Go see the Borat movie...it is the funniest movie I have seen in a long time, well since Talledega nights, but it is good. To Arizona, see you in the windy city soon!
Later, Trent Reznor (right, who would believe that..eventually you would find out I am not trent reznor...fucking liars)

Greetings from the land of milk and honey... wait... milk and cheese... and deer... and fishing... and trees... and snow.
Bamberz here up in the wild yonder of Wisconsin, like WAY yonder wisconsin. Top secret missions I assure you. Don't you worry, I'll be back in time for Bomb-A-Palooza and I'm waiting for all you fukkers to be there.
Well, the world up here is pretty wierd. So far I have passed the Meat Market (selling fresh venision), the Skipping Minnow microbrewery, the Moccossin Bar and Taxidermy Museum (with the world's largest Musky of 67.5 lbs!). I also passed Pete's genreral store which plainly stated "Stuff On Sale Inside". I have also driven by no less that 3 Taxidermy Art Studios... it's an art up here I guess.
I'm stuck up here for an extra day because of the snow- my gravel road route is no longer open. I was re-routed to somewhere around a city that starts with a "C".
Seriously, I don't even know what day of the week it is anymore. And this is the one and only time that I'll be internetting until god knows when.

Hola amigos, from the hell hole they call hollywood. This should not offend anyone, I have made it clear many times I hate this place. On a lighter note, Val and I are having a blast. So now to the real reason I write. One post referring to my astrological sign and it's associated behaviors has brought on a ton of emails with all sorts of funny things to say about Aries. Here is the cream of the crop, and remember...I am nothing like this!
Aries is the first sign in the zodiac, and it's a fire sign and a cardinal one too. Perhaps it comes as no surprise then that this sign is the most forward of forward when it comes to sex.. Plenty of it is required, and the more exotic and 'dangerous' the better. Arians feel the urge to make love in the most unlikely (and frankly uncomfortable!) places, just 'because', especially if the risk of someone catching them at it is high - that just adds to the excitement. Alternatively, some (but a minority) of Arians live quite happily without any sex at all - the two extremes of the spectrum, because extreme is something Arians do well. Sexually experimental, the Aries woman is very oral, and also has a deliciously wicked sense of humour with which to charm her man both before and after love-making. Aries man is equally open-minded, but sometimes has a hard time being faithful. Naturally impulsive and often reckless, this sign above all others needs to be careful with sexual health.
Jam out with your clam out....

A big thank you to all who braved the Cubs traffic and a mid-week night to come out and rock with Fashion Bomb and PIG!! The show was great, and everyone seemed to have a great time, with a few exceptions....The dude who thought it would be a good idea to scuffle with security definitely did not have a good time. Logan security was on him like a cheap suit, and when he tried to scuffle with security, a big assist goes out to Jamie Duffy, from the sound board with a flying headlock to take the guy out. Not since the UFC has entertainment been this good! But I have to say that all in all the show went great, PIG put on a great show, and Raymond and the boys (and girl...cant leave out the flaming boots Zou Zou...did I spell that right?) were some of the nicest folks to play with. Angel....we have some incriminating pics of you with that 4 foot inflatable PBR bottle....more on that later (lol). Mindless Faith were also good, and had the crowd moving. Digital Mindy did a great job as well, rockin' out the new IPod projector...very nice! We debuted some new stuff, and played some favorites... I have to reiterate a big thanks to our peeps, who were out in force... Devil's Reject, Crack Baby, the Dynamic Duo from Wisconsin (that is my new nickname for you now!), all of the crazy guys who started the pit during Christ Puncher... you all ROCK. Period. Stay tuned for more news, and you will read it here first...Mark your calendar now for a date in October.... It will be the Devil's Night Ball II, Saturday October 14th, at Logan Square....and the bands will be....wait for it.... HANZEL UND GRETYL, BELLAMORTE, FASHION BOMB!!! More to come!!!

Revive the rock....make a statement by doing a simple thing....VOTING for it!! Fashion Bomb is trying to open some eyes at MTV with their Bands on the Rise! This is a cool thing, because you can vote an unlimited number of times, just like a Chicago election!! Click here: Fashion Bomb on MTV2 and vote as much as you can!! Also, we are invading Lollapalooza! We need your vote to compete for a slot on this year's Lollapalooza...and it is simple as well. You can vote once per day, per email address. Lollapalooza needs Fashion Bomb We really appreciate all of the support you can give us in this regard. It will be a tough fight, but if enough voices join together we can be heard! We are really looking forward to jamming hard on the 28th with PIG! We are excited to debut some new songs...we will have some new merch...and Scott and Angie over at NEO have graciously agreed to host the afterparty...free admission and drink specials for all those at the show! So, vote often, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the show!

Hello everyone! The Listening Party scheduled for 6-6-06 has been rescheduled! In an effort to bring you the best album possible, coupled with the fact that our dedicated and talented producer will be leaving to go on tour with Front Line Assembly for 35 days, we have decided to reschedule our listening party. We regret any scheduling inconvenience this may cause, but we will have the new date for you in the next few days! Also, as a side effect of the new date, we will actually have the CD available on the new date! This will, of course, not affect any of our scheduled shows, and we will be sneaking some new material into those sets! What to do with those pretty tickets? Save them and keep them safe! We will be honoring them on the new date! Stay tuned here for the new date in the next few days... and we appreciate your understanding! Feel free to contact us here with any questions! More to come!

I can't believe that it is mid-week already, but then again, you lose track of days when you have no time to sleep... we are burning the midnight (and sometimes mid-morning) oil to bring all of our album plans to fruition, and believe me, the plans and work are paying off! We have folks coming from as far away as New Orleans to attend our listening party, and we are truly excited to bring this preview to our closest friends and fans. I have heard some stirrings that a few folks are upset that this is an invite only event. Well, this is a special occasion. Our first full length album, 14 tracks, superior album art, CD extra content....we want to celebrate this with those who have been with us from the start, and our new friends that we have made along the way! Believe me, we appreciate and take care of our supporters! This private party is free, and is not about any kind of draw....we just want to hang with everyone and give our inner circle a sneak preview! That being said, we know we have some friends who are a little far to pick up their tickets, so we have put a link on the front page of this site, so all of you out there who want to come, but can't get to us, or haven't gotten your tickets in the mail, print out a voucher, and turn in the voucher for a ticket at the door! This past weekend, all of us left the studio and went to the Marazene listening party at Kinetic Playground...we talked with the guys and heard the news that Kristov was ill, and so we put our heads together. There is a lot of gossip and shit-talking in the Chicago music scene, and as much as we try to rise above it, it often mires down our best efforts. Times like this is where we extend our hands to each other and in this way, try to help one of our own. More information will be forthcoming, but TJ and the PMI guys, Marazene and Fashion Bomb are planning an important benefit for Kristov, and we hope this will help get him behind the kit asap. Stay tuned for more information soon!!

Straight to the source... I want to follow up my previous post, and update this whole issue of bashing going on. I was being cryptic before because it is not our policy to bash any bands. Rather than let these rumors and gossips swirl, I used a revolutionary piece of technology called a "phone" and called Nick from Digital Mindy. It appears after our candid talk that the FB bashing is apparently coming from some misguided and uninformed youngsters. I can only surmise that they feel that by bashing other bands, they are in some way strengthening Digital Mindy's mojo, or whatever. Nick and I both agreed that the scene would be a lot stronger if everyone just got along, and came out to rock, not gossip. So, in conclusion, there is no problem here between the DM camp and FB central, so why not just come out to the show June 28th, watch some rock with Chicago well represented by two bands that have national reach....and of course, PIG which will kick ass. I dont know Mindless Faith, but I'm sure they will rock as well...

Hello all, another weekend spent in the studio and finalizing plans for the listening party! I did manage to make it out to O'Malley's on Saturday, did a few Perfect Circle tunes with the boys of Aenima, chatted with Gwen from Grigori-3, Steve from NDX and the usual cast of characters out drinking and having a good time.... Bambi and Mode were out this weekend as well, and the paparazzi spotted them out at Metro for Liftpoint handing out some love for the PIG show at Logan Square Auditorium... I just have to address something, and as promised, we only post here on our official site, as there are other unscroupulous individuals who enjoy posing as us or trying to start a storm of crap over everything, so here goes my general disclaimer, once again taking the high road.... Hypothetically speaking of course, if there was a national tour coming to town, looking to play a good sized venue, but traditionally catering to a specialized scene, I don't know, let's say it's....INDUSTRIAL. And let's say the venue wasn't sure if that act alone could sell it out, especially given that one of the tour bands on the bill is from out of state, and the other opener has never drawn more than 57 people to a show at that venue ever, and generally has an audience that leaves right after they play. It's not that the national act isn't excellent, they just don't have numbers available to share. Wouldn't it be logical to get a band that has a large draw and proven success record there, in a similar genre to make sure the show succeeds? Hypothetically speaking of course, it just really is disappointing when an opening band in that position can't recognize that they would not be playing at that good sized venue if this proven band had not agreed to do the date in the first place, and moreover, this proven band would not normally open for this band with the much smaller draw if it wasnt a direct favor to the venue. Get it? It is a shame that some bands who are normally nice guys start attempting to slam the project that actually, when it is all said and done, made it possible for them to play the show there in the first place. That being said.... PIG should be an awesome show! I also heard a rumor that the show is sold out....that is not the case, and it may be some haters attempting to keep you all uninformed, but there are still plenty of tickets, I mean the show IS a month away... but I guarantee that with this lineup, the tickets will start to go fast, and we are working on having the box office open during our listening party so everyone going can buy the tickets there...so stay tuned here for the updates! More to come!

A most interesting weekend, for sure. I know it is now mid-week, but we have been playing catch up getting all of our plans together for the CD, the listening party, etc. I managed to get out to see Live at the Vic on Tuesday night, and it was a great show. I wouldn't call them a guilty pleasure, but the crowd was definitely not spooky in the least. That's alright though, the show rocked. For anyone who hasn't heard, our show with DOPE has been rescheduled to August 5th, still at The Pearl Room, so mark your calendars with the update! DreG and I previewed the final version of one of the video extras that will be on the new CD, and it looks awesome...Crack Baby, your 15 minutes starts with the preview of the video!... But come on out for the listening party on 6-6-06, tickets are circulating now, but don't expect them to be like our fliers and posters... if you want to come, ask for tickets, or email us here or on myspace and find out where to get them! More to come!

The studio hours are being racked up, and I can't wait to debut the new material on 6-6-06!! I did manage to take a break last night, leaving DreG to slave away on tweaking drum tracks, and headed over to House of Blues to check out our friends in Soil. Bambi and Mode met me there, as well as Staci A. and Bob from NDX, and we headed up to the Foundation Room. Along the way, we were joined by Stephen Jensen of F3 Design and his wife Sylvia...who incidentally are doing the amazing work on our album art and lent their talents to Soil's latest album as well...and a good time was had by all. We got there too late to see Ditchwater play, but got to catch Skank for the first time. They did a good job and had some rocking tunes, they also did a great job of getting the crowd into it. American Motherload took the stage next, and did their usual solid job. They always rock the house, so no surprises there. Then Soil took the stage and played through a good deal of the new material, and a few of the old tunes as well. They sounded great and delivered a great show. This was the first time I had seen A.J. in action and he fit very well. More alcohol was consumed after the show, although I managed to escape from any serious dehydration with a mild headache... I did manage to heckle Jamie who was doing his usual quality job on sound at the booth, and saw some familiar faces in the crowd. We handed out some of our exclusive invites to our listening party on June 6 at Logan Square! Get your hands on these tickets, they will go fast, and it promises to be a great time!

I think Webster's Unabridged Dictionary defines "Busy" along with a picture of our band next to it. The studio is taking up hours and hours and it is completely worth it! The tracks are unbelieveable, so stay tuned for more on this! We all took time out to go check out our friends in Rikets at Mr. Kelly's Music Box, and had a great time. The Jagermeister was flowing and they were filming a live video, so the atmosphere was great. Back to the studio, then out on Saturday to catch Deconstruct. I chatted with Joe and Vanessa for a short while, said hello to the lovely Renee, and made our friend Swoo puncture her purse with a Fashion Bomb button. Back to the city and the studio again....DreG has left for parts of the world unknown....well, known, but let's just call it "lightly populated", "lightly automobiled", "light on the plumbing", and "heavy on the monkeys". Enough said! The final plans for the listening party are being formed, and an announcement is only days away, so stay tuned for this! More to come!!

The weekend ended much too soon, maybe because I stayed up all night Saturday, lost an hour, and then nursed my hangover for Sunday. We here at Fashion Bomb central would like to thank everyone for coming out to the show Saturday. We were within a dozen or so of selling the place out, and everyone seemed to have a good time. Shades of Fiction did their usual solid job; our armada of loyalists showed up in force and got a most intimidating pit going in the middle fo the floor! The energy was very positive at Logan that night! Deadstar took the stage and put on a great performance, and then Birthday Massacre played through their catalog and even showed off some new tunes. It was a fun show to play, and we had a blast talking to everyone and hanging at the merch table, etc. We met many new friends and are excited to see everyone again soon! Special thanks to Adam, Cheese, Slot and Juggs for the tight and able crew work...we couldnt do it without you! Also thanks to Logan Square for hosting the event, and as always, making sure the audience has a great lineup to watch! Exit was a whole other world after the show. The vodka, Jager and...um...whatever that acrid brown liquid was, had us all a bit derranged.....Special props to Dearborn from Deadstar Assembly for the unconcious photo shoot! More to come!

The studio is our friend....the hours of investment are paying huge dividends, and the tracks are sounding better than ever. A big happy birthday to Crack Baby...I'm sure his ass got tanned at Exit on Thursday, we were regrettably detained in the studio tracking, but our thoughts were on the beatings and drinking that I'm sure ensued! Friday night, Mode and I attended the Gothic Night out at Penny Road Pub and caught Dies Mali, the Digital Mindy boys, etc. It was a fun night, Renee kept the shots flowing, and Jeff from Slavedriver pointed out that I was in SPIN magazine...of course the guy who did the piece on Gothicfest was clueless and the article didn't even talk about Hanzel und Gretyl or Slick Idiot. My pic in there was an okay one, but the author also screwed up the caption. It makes me wonder how someone with such poor attention to detail can get an article in SPIN. Oh well....Saturday was another day in the studio, Jamie was rocking the knobs all day, and we did some good work, then Dreg, Slot and I headed to the Metro to catch ADD and Supermercado. We saw some familiar faces, and imbibed way too much... what can one do? This morning, Dreg and I are showing the effects of dehydration and pounding heads, but we are tracking away. I can't wait to get the tracking complete and being the mix. The tracks are sounding so great now, I can only imagine how they will be after the mix and master process. More updates to come!!

We have not only been in the studio for endless hours, but we have found the time to get out and about! Acid and I stopped by the Sisters of Mercy show, and handed out a lot of love (fliers) for the April 1st show...mixed reviews from the crowd, but we saw a lot of familiar faces and met some new friends. More studio time ensued, then DreG and I went to The Cult at the Vic...it was great to see the folks at the Vic again and as usual they took care of us. We made our way up to the box, and I must say it was one of the best concerts of the last 2 years. Ian was ON, and although the stage show itself was fairly bare, with only some accent lighting, they did not need it. They rocked hard through all of their hits and greats (of which there are many), and blew us away. The crowd was a big mix of people, but everyone seemed to be jumping up and down and totally into the set. It was a great vibe. More studio in the next week, and DreG will be up at the Taste of Chaos in Milwaukee tonight, so find him to get a flier for the show, or say hello! The rest of us will be out and about in the city and burbs at various shoes and functions, so keep your eyes peeled! More to come!

Production news! The full length is on schedule and the production is going well! DreGland studios have seen many notables, pirates, musicians, producers, etc. in to get a piece of the action... The release date for the CD will be June 6 everyone....stay tuned for more on this, but there will be an invite only listening party prior to that date for VIPs and our Street Team! Keep your eye on May for this event, which should be great. Our street team has been doing an awesome job, and we hope to see this town littered with notices for the April 1 show. The pre-sale has been (and still is) a huge success, so if you haven't gotten tickets yet....borrow the cash and get online! They are going faster and faster! More to come, including the long awaited news on the newly redesigned website preparing to launch!!

Another chapter in the saga that is our lives! We took a break from production to go out and about to see some music this past weekend...Friday night was a fun time, went to check out Marazene at PRP, and saw a bunch of old friends and made some new ones! Marazene played great, the vodka was flowing, and there were three fights....all involving yuppies. Got to love the guys in polo shirts getting "tough" with their new found alcohol induced bravery! DreG, Acid and I then ventured out to the south side to Mr. Kelley's Music Box, said hello to the lovely Deanne at the door, and went to check out The Pop Culture Suicides. Now Zim and I have a very brief history together, and although I hear about all the unflattering things he has to say about me, I have to give him credit for the excellent light show. The staging was very interesting to watch and was a big spectacle. He had some good musical ideas going on there as well. The evening got a little more exciting as Acid and I went to Club 390 to ingest more vodka and talk to Cracker, the excellent DJ who made the girls shake it to Covenant, NIN and Praga Khan all night! After VERY little sleep, I was back on the south side to catch an ultimate fighting party, and watched some guys beat each other senseless, which is always entertaining! As a side note, (drink here), the ticket pre-sale is going great for April 1st, and although it is a month away, I strongly suggest you get them in advance! Get them through the link on our front page, the tour section, or at www.logansquareauditorium.com! More to come!

You can do so here or at the Logan Square Auditorium site! There are some other shows this weekend that we will be attending, so watch out for us around the Penny Road area, or possible Mr. Kelly's Music Box, or Joe's on Weed St. Get a flier, spread the word and get your tickets for April 1st!!!

Happy Val-entines Day everyone, commemorating love and affection, and the wanton slaughter that occured during the St. Valentine's day massacre! Our show this past weekend in Kalamazoo, MI was a great time! There were many people hanging themselves from hooks, loud music, much imbibing, and general debauchery! Thanks much to James and Art and Soul tattoo for hosting the event, and Club Soda! It was great to see all the K-Zoo folks again, especially John from Vitamin V, who is always a bit crazy and one of the absoute coolest people we know! We are currently all working our hind ends off in pre-production, but the progress is going well, and the tracking begins soon on the full length album! Stay tuned for more as the updates occur! Also, I want to reiterate the announcement that we will be playing on April 1, at Logan Square Auditorium with the Birthday Massacre and Deadstar Assembly! This is going to be a great line up, and we will be pulling out some more surprises for this show...anyone remember the Jesi? More to come!!

Thank you to all who came out to Logan Square Auditorium on Saturday night to rock out with us!! Everyone on the bill was great, Withering Soul ate some youngsters who came in during their set, Lockjaw jump started their touring van with tin foil and Jameson, Far From Well was so heavy the stage cracked, Rikets got the crowd so crazy half of them had to be committed to an asylum, and of course, Fashion Bomb provided Jesus Christ for the beating.....twice. (yes the plural of jesus is "jesi" {jeez-eye} ). The afterparty at Exit was also a great success, with much vodka consumption and debauchery. A big thanks to our crew who really came through for us....and to Dave T. and Logan Square Auditorium. Metal is starting to take residence there, and it is good. Fashion Bomb will not be resting on their laurels, however. We will be playing a "My Bloody Valentines" show February 10th in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Club Soda. This will not only be a great concert headlined by Fashion Bomb, it will be a suspension and piercing event sponsored by the Suspended Animation suspension team for their anniversary show!! More details to come, but this should be a great time!! More news to come in the next few days!!

This past weekend was another concert going weekend. The whole band was out at Metro on Saturday night to support NDX and Marazene. There was a nice crowd there, and we got to talk to many old and new friends. It was nice to be out at Metro again, but the string of Emo shows they have been doing there are really putting a damper on show attendance...and now they are a non-smoking club. Now, I don't smoke, so I don't mind it at all, but I know of several people who left the show early because they couldn't go any longer without a cigarette. They would make a killing if they sold Nicorette gum...Jaime did a killer job mixing NDX, and they sounded great. Marazene did a solid job, despite some sound issues. A lot of folks were telling us how they were looking forward to our show on the 28th, and we are excited to play as well! DreG and Slot and I then headed over to the Double Door to suppoort A Band called Pharisee and Royal. Pharisee did a great job as always, and Royal were tight. The crowd was definitely behind Royal. It was nice to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while, and we got to chat with Tadpole for the second weekend in a row...we are going to make it three this weekend at our show! We are putting the finishing touches on the new song, and we will have some surprises in store for all. More to come!!

This weekend was very busy! DreG and I were in the studio putting the finishing touches on some programming for the new song we will be debuting at Logan Square Auditorium on the 28th!! Bambi and Mode attended the Maggot Twat show at the Mutiny, and said it was a great time...those guys are always great. Saturday night, the whole band and Slot our tour manager went to Logan Square to see Shades of Fiction with ODM. ODM rocked the place hard, and Shades never disappoints. We got to hang out with the photographically gifted Courtney, and I think that between her and I we drank enough Vodka to wear Absolut labels as clothing. (oh my head.) She advised that we should put lyrics up for the new tune early, so stay tuned, and the lyrics for the new song will be up in the music section shortly! I also got the chance to chat with Tadpole....I had seen him in a while, but I'm glad he pulled himself away from the studio to hang out! Then, we all went over to Double Door to catch Redshirt, Blackout, and Leftsetter. It was a great vibe there too, and it seems that Double Door had a supply of vodka too....(oh my HEAD.) Sunday we rehearsed, and DreG played extra loud to compliment the pounding in my skull. Stay tuned, there will be more updates to come!

Hello all... We have been hammering out some tracks in the studio. Bambi, Mode and Acid threw down some tracks between perusing the Adam and Eve catalog. The Roomba (I affectionately call it the "Suck-bot") seemed confused by the amplifiers and cords. DreG was deftly navigating his "NASCAR sound bank", and I was screaming so loud in the vocal booth that I saw blue and white checkered patterns in front of my eyes..... good times at DreGland studios and we will have a new tune for you all on January 28th!! Also, we are encouraging everyone to take a minute and sign up for our mailing list! We are going to have some promotional offers and exclusive news coming up, and want everyone to get the message! Also add us on myspace...the announcements will be going out there as well! More to come!

We have some exciting things in the works, with updates to come soon. We have recently received a message from our friend in Iraq affectionately called Sgt. John Wayne....and sarge, the CDs are on the way! We put a few extra in there so that you can crank Fashion Bomb as loud as those mil spec speakers will allow! We had a safe new year here because you guys are over there watching our backs and we appreciate what you are doing %100. We are busy working to debut another new song at our January 28th show... it is going to kick you in the ass for sure. I am really excited to show everyone what this song can do....so be prepared! I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend, got lots of gifts, and rested up. We here in the Fashion Bomb camp have been working hard, and getting ready to kick off the new year with our show January 28th at Logan Square Auditorium! We have heard from friends and fans as far as North Carolina that are making it out for the show....now that is serious dedication!! Keep your eye out for us to get fliers, and to say hello...it doesn't look like there is a lot going on in January until our show, but there are a few gems. I wanted to give a shout out to Kill Hannah for a great show at Metro the other night, we saw lots of you outside on the way out, and handed you some fliers. Spread the word, and get ready to rock!

Hello all! We have put together a great show, set for January 28th...a Saturday night...All Ages, 21+ to drink...Logan Square Auditorium! We are following up the blast we had at the first annual Devil's Night Ball with a show tailored again to the dark side. We have to do something to combat all the "whiny, greasy haired, I'd rather sit in a corner" shows out there now. Working with the ubiquitous Dave T, we are pleased to announce the lineup will be: Withering Soul, Lockjaw, Far From Well, Rikets, and of course FASHION BOMB! Our friends in Withering Soul have been working with one of Cradle of Filth's producers of late, and they bring the black metal to the table with a vengeance.... we have played with Lockjaw many times, and are pleased to bring the boys from up north down to Logan for the first time! They recently played with KMFDM at the Rave....Far From Well, we have not had the opportunity to know as yet, but they all come from other great local projects and should bring the noise....Rikets are a great band that you might have heard of, and includes members of Genitorturers, Switched, and Erase the Grey. A must see!....and if you're reading this, you know FASHION BOMB, and we are going to continue to dress to impress at this night! After you drink yourself silly on New Years, we are giving your liver plenty of time to recover, so no excuses. Saturday night allows Sunday to recover, so come out and do it right! More to come!!

I can also report that we have some shows we are working on that are very exciting... more information will be available after the holiday! Special thanks to our crew, our soundman, Dave T., Crossbreed, NDX, the bartenders (special thanks to you) everyone I am forgetting, and again all of you who came out to sweat and scream! We are back in the studio writing more stuff. We have plans for a live DVD in the works for release early next year..so if you wonder where we are, wonder no longer. Acid and I were out and about at the Medina Lake, Escape from Earth show at Logan Square Auditorium the other night... it was nice to see so many familiar faces, and hear of everyone coming out to the Devil's Night Ball on the 30th! Acid and I were in particularly good spirits that night, as we had just worked out the final contract for our latest endorsement.....ESP GUITARS! ESP makes some of the heaviest sounding instruments out there, and we will be debuting some new hardware at the Devil's Night Ball! From Bambi's bass, to Acid and Mode's EC models..unfortunately DreG and I will be a little busy to break out our ECs and Vipers, but rest assured they will make appearances soon!! Stay tuned for more announcements!!

Well, a lot of spooky people and a bunch of normal looking folks were out last night at the Auditorium Theatre to see Dead Can Dance last night. My friends at JAM got me some prime seats right in front, and the show was great. It was great to experience DCD live, as they haven't toured in ten years, and I hadn't seen them live. The show was very well received, and I'm sure they will return. I even saw Luke out and about in a pinstripe suit looking sharp!! I guess he was itching to get formal after all that touring with Dope... ...On a different note, Fashion Bomb will have some more big announcements in the next couple of days, so stay tuned!!

I attended the Danzig/Himsa/Mortiis show last night at House of Blues.... Mortiis kept complaining throughout the set that they had technical problems, and if that was the case fine, but he was not the outstanding live act that he has the reputation for. He was in a t-shirt and jeans, and of course the mask, but it looked like his evening was a little off....he only played a 20 minute set for crying out loud. Himsa had some solid music, and got the audience into it. But the crowd was there for Danzig... He is on tour with Randy (who actually broke his hand during the set, but finished strong, playing two encores songs), Joe from the band Deconstruct played guitar....I had a chance to hang out with Joe for a while a couple months ago, and he was a very cool guy, and he did a great job with the set last night. Johnny from Type O Negative was on drums and rocked. Danzig looked like he was struggling early with the vocals, but he got better as the night went on. Then, Doyle from the Misfits came out, and this dude looks like a wrestler more than a guitar player, and they ripped into some old Misfits tunes, which were great. All in all, the musical aspect of the evening was good. I hope to see everyone at the Dead Can Dance show tomorrow!!

All I have to say is NIN rocked this weekend. It was great to see everyone out and about at the show, and we were not disappointed. QOTSA did a great set, and NIN was awesome. Acid and posse were in attendance, as were Bambi and Mode.... and I was there with Juggs and the Aveda crew, including my wonderful stylist Staci....the rest of the weekend was spent doing prep for the upcoming LSA show. I will say that we have some awsome surprises in store! Tonight, I will be appearing at the Danzig show at House of Blues. Be sure to keep an eye out as I won't be hard to miss, and get a flier for the show!!

Alas, he has risen again. I do not have any great news to offer at this moment for Val as done a wonderful job with this, but I did want to let everyone know I will not be a void in the Fashion File space any more. It has been a long 6 months since I have spewed my insanity on this file. The break was needed for many reasons and I can say with out exception, success was achieved. So with this intro back into the world of the File I will say I have missed all of the hate mail, and all of the fan mail, but most of all I have just missed contributing and informing, those who want to know, what is happening in the underworld of the Bomb. My brothers, my people, my blood....yes, I never want to hear that again either!!! Love to you from DreG, and I will speak again soon.

Well, our friend Phlick contributed to our further degeneration... he hosted a party last night at VIPs, the strip club formerly known as Crazy Horse last night. Acid and I spent some time there, along with Losman, and our unflappable video producer John Weaver... the DJ graced us with a break from the rap and got some Marliyn and Zombie playing and a good time was had by all. Phlicks comments while having two girls climbing all over him was the most entertaining of all! We will definitely have to visit again!

Another busy weekend! The weekend was jam packed with shows and events, so the trend of making myself very tired continues! Friday night, I stopped by the U.S. Beer Co., to check out 48sin. Had a nice talk with Patrick, and although I had to leave a little early, it was a nice time. On Saturday, DreG and I went to the Windy City Invitational at Metro... we got there just in time to see our friends in Acumen Nation take the stage, and they did a good job. The crowd was a little thin, Kittie had cancelled, but there was some good music to be had there! Shout out to Rodney who was there with the Macabre boys. We went next door and had a quick bite an beverage with the Acumen guys, and then headed to Exit to meet up with Bambi and Mode, and had a beverage laced celebration for Mode's brother. It was a very fun night, indeed. The next evening we heard of a band in town called Danko Jones, and went to the Vic to check them out opening for Our Lady Peace. DreG and I had a bird's eye view from the box, and I must say Danko had a great bluesy, rock and roll energy. He was a great showman, and he won over the audience. Our Lady Peace certainly had a few fans in the house, it was like a religious cult was in the audience, as they seemed to know every song lyric by heart. The lead singer seemed content to let the audience do a lot of the singing, so it was like a weird campfire sing-a-long with 1300 campers. I was glad for the vodka, but it was a good show to watch. Tonight, FB will be heading to a strip club of some nature for a party...not all the details in yet, but I will update you all here! More to come!

Another weekend goes by like lightning... Friday, DreG, Acid and I went to Logan Square Auditorium to check out Blackout, Sound Mob, Beneath Me, Orion 9.... had a good time, and chatted with many friends and familiar faces!! Bon Voyage to Dave T and Kerry going on their Hawaii honeymoon....I think Hawaii woudl be a great place to visit if it weren't for all that sun...and sand, it gets everywhere....and the ocean, there's sharks in there. I can't abide sharks....but I'm sure they'll have a lovely time. The next day, DreG wento to Disturbed...I met up with him later with Jeanette, and we talked to a bunch of folks about our show October 30th! Then it was over to Nocturna at Bottom Lounge. Normally a real sleeper, that night was pretty fun, and got to meet a bunch of cool people. There was one individual dressed as a robot, about 5'4" tall with a goatee that was clearly delusional and lacking any good judgement what-so-ever, but other than his dumb ass, it was a nice evening. More to come!!

This past weekend, Acid, Jeanette and I attended Gothicfest 2005 at the Odeum in Villa Park. We arrived early enough to catch our friends in Withering Soul play their set, and they did a great job. Also got to see Dies Mali and Grigori-3...more friends and enjoyed their sets. I must say that although it was a very long day, and I was desperately hoping the bar the Odeum provided would magically become stocked with something remotely drinkable. But, Hanzel und Gretyl took the stage and made up for it. Fashion Bomb has played with them before, but they keep getting better, and they played through the best of their two latest albums and had the crowd that remained completely into it. The vendors at the 'fest were all very friendly, but seemed to lack a variety of cool stuff to buy. There were some good things, but all in all, nothing truly unique. Attendance seemed to be light for all the advertising they did...but then again, it was an all ages show, and the tickets through ticketmaster I heard were $42.00, then the Odeum got you for $8.00 in parking. There was no re-entry, so if you were there all day, you were forced into their food and beverage, which of course was inflated. I can't think of many people of any age who would fork out $50.00 for ticket and parking, for something less than an Ozzfest or NIN show... maybe it would have been better if the ticket prices were more reasonable, then the attendance could have been better. I did get a chance to chat with Sludge from 94.7, and we went over the sometimes excellent, and sometime not so excellent outfits that were being modelled that evening, enjoyed the HUG set together. Also, Acid, Jeanette and I were asked to pose for some photos for SPIN mazgazine...we'll watch out for the upcoming issues to see if we're in there. It was also nice to say hello to some new friends who we talked to about Logan Square, and I'm confident that we will have some sinister folks from the Gothicfest there at the show on October 30!! More to come!!

Hello All.... Well, it's certainly flattering to see that many out there are still frequenting our site and checking in on the "Fashion File"! I heard that someone cut and pasted my previous entry and put it up on a chat board and then tried to sign in as me. Well, to state a well known p[olicy once again. The men and women of Fashion Bomb do not post on any message board save this one, nor do we post on our friend's band boards....if we have something to say, we say it here. Thanks to all for the continued interest, and we are excited to be debuting our fabulous new members at a show on such a special night, with good friends in the opening acts! Stay tuned for some killer pictures next week of the new line up!!!

I think we should re-name this forum the "Val File"...(lol). Some news to announce... We are happy to welcome Mode on guitar, and Bambi on bass to our line up! They will be debuting at the Logan Square show on October 30! We got some of the photos back from our kick-ass photographer (check out the link to Jody Warner in our links section!) and the shots are outstanding. We will have some of those up soon, we promise. Mode and Bambi have been brought up to speed on the set and are working on new tunes with us, so there should be plenty
